Joe Axline is an aviation enthusiast and entrepreneur residing in Brookshire, Texas, renowned for transforming two retired airplane fuselages into a unique residence he calls "Project Freedom." His innovative home comprises sections of a McDonnell Douglas MD-80 and a DC-9, reflecting his lifelong passion for aviation and a desire to live unconventionally.

Inspired by the 1970s TV show The Magician, where the protagonist travels in a private jet, Axline aspired to create a similar living experience. Following a personal life change in 2011, he purchased land in an aviation community and acquired the airplane fuselages. He renovated the MD-80 into his main living quarters, featuring a master bedroom, two additional sleeping areas, a kitchen, bathroom, and living room. Original aircraft elements like the cockpit and overhead bins were preserved, blending aviation history with residential comfort. 

Beyond his distinctive home, Axline operates a reputation management business, assisting small businesses in enhancing their online presence through positive reviews. He shares his journey and insights through various platforms, encouraging others to pursue their dreams regardless of societal norms.
